Sognefjorden fjord at 12am.
Here are some new shots from my phone. They were taken while at work doing a story for the news the other day. The story was about a survey showing that an increasing number of Norwegians asked said they would travel and spend their summer holiday in their own country instead of traveling abroad. This to help save the environment, meaning less air travel.
The former foreign affairs minister, now the head of the Norwegian Tourism Agency came to the area and promoted Norwegian holiday locations for Norwegians. Here is a link to the news story video clip: http://www1.nrk.no/nett-tv/indeks/99817
Here is a video I shot today with my new Nokia N95 phone. What you see is the fjord: Sognefjorden on the west coast of Norway. It is Norway's longest fjord with a length of 200km from the ocean coastline to the most inland point. As you can see, the roads around here are not exactly highways! This road is a typical road in Sogn og Fjordane county on the west coast! Great fun to drive!
