A couple of pictures from Haukedalen today. The snow in the mountains is melting really fast causing lots of water in rivers and lakes. Haukedalen is a pretty remote area in the Sunnfjord region in Sogn and Fjordane county here on the west coast of Norway.

The spring has finally come to the west coast of Norway. Plants are surfacing again and it is getting warmer. A great opportunity for a picture "safari" out in the neighborhood. Above are a few of the pictures from that "safari". (Shot with a Canon EOS 30D with a 17-70mm Sigma lens.)
